This course is designed to help you learn scientific illustration at your convenient time. We know you are busy with your experiments, presentations, writings and other academic activities. You can complete the projects in your free time, instructor will guide you from start to finish.
Learn how to prepare professional quality 2D and 3D illustrations for your research paper.
Learn how to make cover art illustrations to highlight your research on the cover page of international research journals.
TOC graphic for your research paper is very important. It is the first information someone see about your work when going through the journal.
You will prepare a professional graphical abstract for a research paper of your choice. Instructor will guide you from start to finish.
If you can spend 6 to 8 hours per week, you should be able to successfully finish this course.
Live sessions will be conducted once a week, Saturday from 7:30 to 9:00 PM (IST).
There will be 4 Scientific illustration Projects. Instructor will guide you from start to finish.
The projects are deigned in a way that you get to learn all tools, resources and workflow involved in making scientific illustrations.
You can access the entire course through our learning management system. All resources, recording of live sessions, lectures can be accessed for liftieme.
You will get feedback on your project submissions from the instructor during the live sessions. So submit your projects on time to get the feedback.
The main highlight of the course is that you will get live support from the instructor through telegram group.

Course Instructor
Rafeeque Mavoor is a scientific illustrator. He works with researchers, developing illustrations for research papers and science communication projects.
He completed his BS MS dual degree with major in chemistry from IISER Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM) and has been working on scientific illustration and animation projects for the past 6 years at IISER TVM and IISER Pune.
Since then, he has conducted multiple science illustration workshops for researchers.

All softwares and tools you will learn in this course are free to use for any purposes except adobe tools. You don't have to pay any fee later. These are sufficient to create professional quality illustrations for your research communication.
It's going to be combination of live sessions and pre-recorded videos. You can finish the projects by following learning materials on our learning platform
Yes. Recording of live sessions will be shared. All videos will be accessible for lifetime.
Yes, you will receive a certificate of completion, if you submit four projects in time successfully.
